We’ve had the pleasure of crafting gold leaf shopfront signage for Pragnell, the renowned family jeweller, across multiple locations in the UK. Our collaboration began with their London boutique on Mount Street in Mayfair, where we created their black shopfront with hand-gilded gold leaf lettering.
Since then, we’ve produced matching black façades with traditional gold leaf signage for their Stratford-upon-Avon and Leicester stores, ensuring a consistent and refined identity across each location.
The front door were gilded using 24‑carat gold leaf, creating a crisp, luminous finish that complements the store’s refined identity and branding.
For the fascia sign, the wood cut-out letters were carefully prepared for gilding. Each letter was primed, sanded to a smooth finish, painted, and then hand-gilded with loose leaf gold to achieve a rich, luxurious result.
