Botanical Silver‑Leaf Wall for Collect fair 2025

A Collaboration for the VIP space
We created this series of silver‑leaf panels in collaboration with Will Foster Studio and Studio Est for the 2025 Collect Fair at Somerset House. Produced on a tight two‑week timeline, the panels formed a feature wall within the VIP lounge and cocktail bar, designed around a subtle botanical theme that complemented the surrounding artworks.
To achieve the soft, natural atmosphere the designers envisioned, we used oil‑gilded silver leaf for a satin finish with reduced reflection. Because silver can appear cool against warmer tones, we tinted the oil size to harmonise with the palette specified for the flowers and leaves. All design work and hand‑painting were completed in our studio, with selected details water‑gilded to introduce gentle depth and variation.
The panels were made slightly oversized to allow for precise fitting on site. We handled the installation ourselves, cutting the panels as we are installing them for a clean, exact fit.
